Leo Laporte proposes using the term “netcast” instead of “podcast”

Well-known podcaster Leo Laporte isn’t happy with the term “podcast,” particularly in light of Apple’s recent trademark claims. His suggestion? Call them “netcasts” instead. “It’s a little clearer that these are broadcasts over the Internet. It’s catchy and even kind of a pun.”
